Having played competitive tennis throughout my childhood, the game has always been a part of my life. Returning to it through painting has allowed me to explore not just sport itself, but the atmosphere surrounding it; the empty courts before play, long afternoon shadows, worn grass, faded lines and the memories these places hold.
